Für alle, die nicht wissen was das hier ist:
Es handelt sich hierbei um eine Firmware für das Toshiba-Samsung TS-H943 DVD-Rom Laufwerk einer XBox 360.
Diese Firmware erlaubt es, Backups (Sicherheitskopien) von XBox 1 sowie XBox 360 Games abzuspielen.
Um die Firmware auf das Laufwerk zu bekommen, muss man das DVD-Laufwerk in einen PC einbauen, dies ergibt einen Garantieverfall der Konsole!

Allerdings solltest du dazusagen das MS die Firmware durch Zwangsupdates von LIVE überschreiben kann  |

Genauso wie bei der alten XBox. Außerdem ist es kein wirklich großer akt das Firmwareupdate aufzuspielen. |

| Jo, aber Downgraden wird schwer werden weil normalerweise die Firmware das verweigert. |

So, ein Firmware Hack für das Hitachi Laufwerk ist nun auch veröffentlicht worden.
Es stehen XBox 360 Besitzern also nichts mehr im Wege um Homebrew abzuspielen |
