NF vs dac-SP2 - Division 5, Round 4
This was an awesome match.

Bay
NF - Crooms, Squirrel, Vapor
dac-SP2 - Maphios, Satte, Sun

This one started out very one sided. dac-SP2 were very consistent, while NF were crashing all over the place. Poor Crooms was playing on his laptop as his computer was in the shop. Vapor finished first once, but NF still couldn't earn a point. Maphios, Satte and Sun were putting up some nice times, and all of a sudden it was 6-0 to dac-SP2.

Then something miraculous happened. NF stopped crashing and started putting up 1:00s, while it was dac-SP2's turn to crash. First it was 6-1 then 6-2. With Squirrel and Vapor leading the charge, it was suddenly 6-6. Could this be a comeback to end all comebacks? Unfortunately for NF, it wasn't. dac-SP2 held their nerve to take a thrilling round 7-6. For NF, it was a great comeback but just not enough. For dac-SP2, it was a sigh of relief.

Stadium

dac-SP2 - Ade, JahRacer, Sun

With our hearts still racing from the first map, we heading into the stadium environment. Squirrel was a late replacement for NF, he had only raced the track a couple of times before the match.

This one turned out to be close yet again, but in a totally different fashion. NF jumped out to a lead, only just taking out the first run with KN spluttering home in 6th place. Then taking the top 3 places on the second run. However, from then on it was as tight as they come. We ended up with a 11-10 scoreline 5 times. Skyline was in fine form for NF, while Ade was putting up some good times for dac-SP2. However, NF somehow managed to come away with the win on 4 of those 5 occasions the score ended on 11-10.

I was racing this one, fingers numb and heart pumping, so forgive me if thats all I remember.

Rally
NF - Crooms, Squirrel, Vapor
dac-SP2 - Satte, Shark, Sun

So we came to the final map at one a piece. It had already been a thrilling match so far. The 7-1 scoreline on the previous map was misleading, it was very close. Rally proved to be no different. NF shot out to the early 1-0 lead only for dac-SP2 to come back in fighting fashion to lead 3-1. Then NF came right back again, the sea-saw battle continued. NF up 4-3, then dac-SP2 up 5-4.

An enthralling match where the winner was decided on the last corner. Satte drove a 59, then Squirrel drove a 1min flat. There was literally miliseconds in it. Finally, Squirrel put in a couple of good runs with support from Vapor and Crooms to put the nail in dac-SP2's coffin.

Final Score: NF 7-5


An absolute rip-snorter of a match. As tight as they will ever come, and a total joy to be apart of. It was a match played out in great spirit, despite the tight and tense nature. It was a real battle, thats for sure.

Overall: NF 2-1 (20-13)
